Land of gorges and suspended villages
Tenuta La Torraccia is located in Agro Falisco, a small territory in the province of Viterbo full of characteristic and suspended villages, historical and naturalistic sites, as well as many delicious products to taste.
Here lived the ancient Falisci, an Italic population similar and at the same time different from the Etruscans, who have left us many artifacts and archaeological sites to see and visit.
We are in the countryside between Orte and Vasanello, two of the Municipalities of this territory.
You can visit all the place around like the beautiful village of Calcata , the ancient Faleria, Civita Castellana and its Forte Sangallo, the town of Nepi between Borgias history and the waterfalls, and then Corchiano with its gorges, Gallese, Castel Sant 'Elia and his sanctuary; towards the slopes of Cimini Mountains there are Vallerano, Canepina and Vignanello.

Tuscia, a territory that radiates history, full of fantastic monuments.
We are in the province of Viterbo and the famous Tuscia extends close to us, known for its castles and noble palaces. We start from the city of Viterbo, the city of Popes, of the thermal baths and one of the largest medieval districts in Europe.
There are many monuments to see in Tuscia, from the majestic Palazzo Farnese in Caprarola to Villa Lante in Bagnaia and its amazing garden. And then the Sacred Wood of Bomarzo with its enchanted sculptures, or the castle in the Vulci Park, the castle of Soriano nel Cimino and the city of Tuscania. Definitely a must-see is the village of Civita di Bagnoregio, increasingly famous year by year throughout Italy and the world.
There are countless naturalistic sites: such as the volcanic lakes of Vico and Bolsena or the majestic Faggeta of Cimini Mountains as well as numerous archeological sites: Sutri amphitheatre, the Necropolis of Norchia and the Etruscan tombs of Tarquinia.

Tenuta La Torraccia is in a strategic position in the center of Italy. After the Tiber River, heading north-east, you will find the lower Umbria.
Here you can see the Gole del Nera nature trail and the Mole, up to the medieval city of Narni, which is said to have inspired the Chronicles of Narnia by C.S. Lewis. You can get to Assisi, the birthplace of St. Francis, and visit the impressive cathedral. And then Norcia, Orvieto, Perugia and the amazing Marmore waterfalls.
Whatever your tastes and interests are, all Tenuta La Torraccia surrounding areas are filled with beauty, lovely place to visit and shoot, for great memories to take home.
